Land Access Assistant

As a Land Access Assistant at HS2 you will act as the point of contact between HS2 Delivery teams and Environmental contractors to coordinate access requests to gain timely access to land to enable survey activities to proceed.
 
About the role:
  • Receive access requests from Area Delivery Teams, GI Team, Utilities Team, Environmental PSCs and others
  • Work with contractors to ensure access to land is secured in time for survey activity to proceed in accordance with agreed programmes
  • Ensure contractor payment schedules are delivered in a timely manner and escalating complaints when required
  • Record and report progress of access as directed
  • Provision of ownership information as directed
  • Assure the access data provided by contractors as part of the upload process to various systems
  • Respond to enquiries on access and land ownership matters in a timely manner

About You:

  • Experience of supporting the implementation of compulsory purchase powers e.g. Hybrid Bills
  • An understanding of title registration due to the high number of registrations expected with the CPO process
  • Robust technical skills eg., GIS
  • It is expected that you will actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
