As a Land Access Manager at HS2 you will be responsible for managing PSC activities and liaising with landowners to secure timely access to land to enable survey activities to proceed in accordance with the wider Hybrid Bill and Delivery programmes.
 
About the role:
  • Coordinate Lot 4 PSC activities ensuring access to land is secured in time for survey activity to proceed
  • Challenge the PSC scope for access requests to make sure access sought is proportionate and defensible ensuring cost effectiveness of the survey programme
  • Manage access requests for key technical stakeholders
  • Act as a single point of contact across HS2 for access to land owned by key technical stakeholders to ensure access requests are coordinated and are costs managed effectively
  • Manage and reconcile the Environmental and GI survey scope datasets to ensure that landowners are provided with accurate information via the Lot 4 PSC’s, to assist in securing agreement
  • Manage preparation and assurance of notices of entry under Bill powers, post-Royal Assent
  • Support the assurance of Lot 4 PSC referencing deliverables to enable programme deadlines to be achieved
  • Assure the access data provided by Lot 4 PSC as part of the upload process to LRdb, eB and gViewer

About You:

  • A relevant degree/HNC or equivalent
  • Relevant professional membership (e.g. CPA, APM, etc)
  • Experience in land referencing and compulsory purchase
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Ability to deal with stakeholders and members of the public in a range of circumstances
  • It is expected that you will actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
