High-value work
Working on a Phase 1 region between London and Birmingham, you will manage and deliver key aspects of the land acquisition programme in the rural central section of the route. You’ll own a specific case list – including high-value acquisitions, complex reconfigurations or sensitive acquisitions. Through the effective negotiation of compensation claims, we’ll see the timely availability of the required land for the HS2 project.
Connecting with people
The proactive building of relationships will be vital - especially with affected property owners, individuals and organisations. You’ll also lead external agents on land-side negotiations, while providing expert advice to the delivery function, town planning, environment and petition management stakeholders, to inform decision making in those areas from a property perspective.
Leading negotiations
On top of your substantial experience working in the property business – you’ll bring proven supplier management skills, broad knowledge of how compulsory purchase works and the ability to lead sensitive negotiations with tact and resilience.
