Membership of The Compulsory Purchase Association

Members are welcomed from the diverse range of professionals who are involved in CPO work.

The CPA has 4 membership groups – Honorary, Student, Full Individual and Corporate.

  • Honorary - is awarded by the National Committee.
  • Student – open to students in education & not employed full time
  • Full Individual – open to any professional person (see appendix) who has an interest in CPO work
  • Corporate – Open to public sector organisations (public or local authority, statutory agency, statutory undertaker, public trust or higher education body). Such organisations can register up to 3, 6 or 9 employees to become CPA members.

There are three steps to becoming a member of the CPA.

  1. Make sure you are Eligible by consulting the Eligibility Rules
  2. Make sure you are prepared to abide by the rules of the CPA by consulting the Word DocumentConstitution (PDF)
  3. Download and fill in the Membership and Standing Order Form
