SGM Vote Results 2016
The vote, conducted by the Electoral Reform Group has ended. The membership was asked to vote upon
“I agree to the principle of the CPA investigating further a voluntary accreditation scheme which will be subject to a future vote the by CPA membership”
Answers will be Yes or No
As election officer, I can confirm the following result:
Votes cast 307 from 553 turnout 56.2%
Votes Yes 131 42.7%
Votes No 176 57.3%
This means that the membership voted against the principle of the CPA investigating a voluntary accreditation scheme.

This is the highest ever turnout for a CPA vote, and I thank everyone who took part.
The committee has its next committee meeting on the 21 April. The chairman will write to you shortly thereafter.
