Ready to be part of world-class transformational infrastructure projects?
London has the largest, busiest and one of the most modern mass transit systems in the world. And behind its operation is TfL. A place where history meets cutting edge technology. We have extensive experience of tackling the transport needs of what is a truly diverse and populous capital city, head on. We create world-class infrastructure projects that act as a catalyst for investment and regeneration. As part of Operational Property, you’ll work on initiatives that make a huge difference to the millions who live, work and visit London. It is a role that will call on all your skills and provide excellent scope to hone them further.

You’ll enjoy a huge variety of challenges and opportunities
Primarily a land referencing management role, but with a varied and interesting range of other responsibilities, using and developing CAD, GIS and document management systems. Working on some of our most challenging and complex property matters, you’ll find that no two days are ever the same in this key role. Senior leaders across the TfL Group and the wider GLA family will rely on your expert advice and support for land referencing and more generally in uncovering information about land and property. Across some of our most significant projects, you’ll have scope to extend your knowledge and abilities by being the TfL lead for land referencing.

A role so challenging and rewarding demands a wide range of skills
An experienced land referencing professional, ideally MRICS, you’ll bring to the role a full range of land referencing and land and property knowledge. You’ll be familiar with compulsory purchase and have knowledge of technology and data management systems in relation to land referencing, CAD and GIS. You’ll understand key drivers and risks, be able to analyse issues and you’ll be able to plot a path to a successful outcome. You’ll be a self-starter, an astute problem-solver and an experienced project manager. From providing advice and briefings, to collaborating with key stakeholders, your communication skills really set you apart.

The rewards are as impressive as your achievements
In return for your expertise, along with the knowledge that you’ll be playing a vital role, we can offer an excellent benefits package including final salary pension scheme and a generous holiday entitlement of 30 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays. You can make significant savings on travel thanks to a free Oyster Card travel pass; 75% discount on national rail season ticket and interest free loan; and discounted travel on the Eurostar.
