Adrian Maher MRICS, Aspire Compulsory purchase


Adrian is the former head of Operational Property at Transport for London. He led the compulsory purchase team  for over 30 years and has been responsible for the land acquisition on a number of major compulsory purchase schemes including the East London Line extension, Jubilee Line extension, Croydon Tramlink and more recently Crossrail. He was responsible for a compensation budget of over £1bn and some of the leading cases on compulsory purchase such as Spirerose..


He has been a committee member of the CPA since 2013 and has played a key role in the recent reforms in the Housing and Planning Act 2016 and Neighbourhood Planning Act.
