For the past 3 years the CPA regional event programme has been disrupted by a virus, lockdowns and train strikes. In anticipation that all of that is behind us, we are delighted to offer the first in four planned regional events. The event will take the form of a live panel discussion, with networking pre- and post-event. Instead of participating on screen and having your contributions read out by the chair, you will be closer to the action and have the chance to ask follow up questions.
The panel will be formed of leading compulsory purchase practitioners including Ian Ponter of Kings Chambers, Nyear Yaseen of Lambert Smith Hampton and Toni Weston of Gowling WLG. Key topics for discussion will include recent Tribunal decisions, legal reform, and Tribunal proceedings. Coffee and tea pre-event; wine and nibbles post event. The event is free for members and a modest fee applies for non-members.
